Looking Glass Falls is one of the most accessible waterfalls in Pisgah National Forest — a 60-foot cascade visible right from US-276, with a viewing platform at the top and a short stairway down to the base. There's no hike to reach it: you park, walk down the steps, and you're at the base.
It sits in a tight cluster with Sliding Rock and Moore Cove Falls, so one trip up US-276 covers three of the area's best-known spots. Basing yourself near Brevard also skips the daily haul from Asheville that most visitors make.
